Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Glastonbury 2015 (BBC2, 7.30pm/10p/11pm)
Thanks to the Beeb, we’ll be checking in on Glastonbury all weekend. It’ll almost feel like you’re there. *sobs*. Tonight, catch sets from Florence and the Machine, Mark Ronson, James Bay, and our own Christy Moore. #glastonbury2015
The Graham Norton Show (BBC1, 10.35pm)
Graham’s got an eclectic mix of guests on the couch this evening – Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, actor Ewan McGregor, comedian Jack Whitehall, the inexplicable Rita Ora will be on for a chat. #grahamnorton
Heat (RTÉ2, 10.30pm)
Robert De Niro stars as a career criminal who begins to feel the ‘heat’ (geddit?) from cop Al Pacino when he and his gang accidentally leave a clue at the scene of their latest heist. A classic crime caper.
Everybody’s talking about: Game of Thrones
Emilia Clarke (AKA Daenerys Targaryen) has hinted that one of the big deaths in season five may not be a death at all. No spoilers, but fans will know which one.
Speaking to MTV, she said:
Seriously, I can with all honesty say that I have no idea what’s happening. If I had to bet, I’d say there’s a 50/50 chance… There are some very helpful people there who could bring them back to life.
Or flick over for…
- Leap Year (Film4, 7pm) Begorrah! It’s this awful Amy Adams film set in Ireland again. You know you want to watch it.
- A Fistful of Dollars (TG4, 9pm) Clint Eastwood stars in this classic Western.
- Life As We Know It (RTÉ One, 9.35pm) Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel star in this rom-com about two enemies who must raise a baby together.
- The Last Leg (Channel 4, 10pm) Comedians Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker riff on the events of the past week.
- Final Destination (TV3, 10.30pm) Grim horror about a number of teens who get picked off in stomach-churningly creative ways.
